Test and advertise installation procedure

Description

Following !207 (merged), we would like to test and advertise the installation procedure of DORiE. This is currently not possible due to the limitations described in !207 (comment 54748) and thus, this issue cannot be solved before they are resolved:

  • dune-randomfield has fixed its installation procedure for release 2.6 (See dune-randomfield/!6)
  • Installation procedure in DORiE has to be fixed !207 (merged)

Proposal

Add a description of how to install DORiE in order have it available user/system-wide discarding the build directory. Additionally, we should explain how to set up a downstream using the DORiE C++ interface.

How to test the implementation?

The installation procedure should be systematically tested in our CI:

  • Install files into the final docker image.
  • Setup simple downstream projects in C++/Python that depend on the installed files.
